I came to René because I NEEDED a change. I needed something that was designed specially for ME and my needs ( not for the masses). When I first met with René I was nervous because I had no idea what to expect and I didn’t know if this was something I would be able to do. After all... my past was filled with multiple different “diets” which worked temporarily and then they didn’t. René heard MY life. I needed a plan that would allow me to eat out, not have to cook 2 meals ( because I have 2 kids and I just didn’t want to do that), and make it easy for on the go eating with my work schedule as an RN. Within a few days she designed my specific plan for me. Honestly the beginning was hard, because it was a change with my old eating habits. BUT as time went on it became easier! I was able to meal prep, serve the same meal to my children with slight modifications to my own food and we continued to eat out 1-2x a week. Within 8 weeks I was down 20lbs! It only continued to get better from there. René was a constant support to me throughout my entire journey- ( I even remember sending her menus and asking what I should get to help me stay on track). I never once counted, tracked , measured. This was honestly one of the best journeys in my life and I’m so glad I got to do it with René.

I was referred to René by a friend after feeling frustrated by the amount of time I was wasting at the gym, piecing together ineffective workouts for myself…….and without much to show for it. That was more than 3 years and 25 pounds ago! I have been training with René twice per week during that time and have greatly appreciated the personal instruction, the fun atmosphere, and most importantly, the results. René has made me better appreciate the value of a stronger core and full body workouts. The improvement in core strength has certainly helped me with my running program which has progressed to something I never thought it would. When I first started working out with René, I was running 10-minute miles and had never run a 5k. Now three years later, I have improved my performance in each of 3 half marathons (the last at 8:26/mile). With René’s encouragement, I am now going to tackle my first full marathon later this year.
